What is LawPay?
Our perpetual innovation and leadership position has earned us a reputation as experts in legal payments. Our VP of Enterprise Solutions, Melissa Chambers, serves on the Professional Development Advisory Committee (PDAC) for the Association of Legal Administrators (ALA). Additionally, LawPay’s Founder and Executive Chairman was invited by the Electronic Transaction Association (ETA), the payment industry’s governing body, to join its Presidential Advisory Council in 2018. In February 2019, the ETA accepted LawPay as one of only five payments technology companies, and the only legal payments company, into its new ETA Self-Regulation Program (SRP). The ETA SRP provides ISOs, Payment Facilitators, and acquirers the ability to demonstrate a deep commitment to industry self-regulation. The ETA SRP seeks to improve security and reduce risk in the payments industry by acknowledging companies who have a critical understanding of the key components essential to mitigate instances of abuse to consumers in the payments system.
