What is Triplebyte?
Our approach at Triplebyte is to view hiring engineers as a data problem. We’ve assessed over 200,000 engineers, and we feed the data from these assessments back into the machine learning statistical models underlying our process. This results in a highly accurate test of engineering ability. The assessment is adaptive (like the GMAT or the GRE), meaning that we ask different questions based on the answers that a candidate has given. The assessment measures ability across a range of areas (e.g. algorithms, system design), and this data is shown to company users. Recruiters and hiring managers use this data to find candidates who are a better fit for their roles. The result of all of this is that our customers see an average of a 40% on-site to offer rate with Triplebyte candidates (about 2x the industry average). The assessment data also helps recruiters identify skilled, diverse engineers from non-traditional backgrounds.
